Web Search

Private web search is completely free. Search the internet without consuming any credits. Your queries are executed server-side, protecting your IP address and stripping tracking parameters. No limits on search queries.

Token Price Lookups

Check cryptocurrency prices for free. Get real-time token prices, 24-hour changes, market cap, volume, and other market data without using credits. Price lookups never cost credits.

Explore NEAR blockchain data for free:

Wallet address lookups
Transaction details
Portfolio holdings
Account balances
Token transfers

All blockchain exploration is free. You can query as many wallets and transactions as you want without consuming credits.

Token Swaps

Token swaps cost AI credits because the AI builds the transaction for you. However, Zero charges no swap fees—you only pay network gas fees and protocol fees (e.g., Ref Finance's 0.3%). The AI credit cost is for transaction construction, not the swap itself.

Pro Tip: You can use Zero's search, price tracking, and blockchain explorer features extensively without ever buying credits. Credits are only needed for AI interactions.

Features That Cost Credits

Only two features consume credits:

AI Chat

Conversing with Zero's AI assistant costs credits based on actual token usage (input and output tokens). The cost varies depending on the complexity of your query and the AI's response. Simple questions use fewer credits than complex, multi-step requests.

Aura Mode

Aura Mode provides crypto market sentiment analysis and costs 2x the normal AI credit rate. When you activate Aura (brain toggle button), each AI interaction costs double the token-based amount.

Credit Usage: Credits are calculated based on LLM token usage. More complex AI queries consume more tokens and therefore more credits. Aura Mode doubles this cost.

Daily Free Credits

When you connect your NEAR wallet, Zero automatically claims your 50 free credits (every user gets upon logging in every 24 hours). These credits can be used for AI chat or Aura Mode.

Swap Execution Costs

Token swaps cost AI credits (because the AI builds the transaction) plus blockchain costs:

AI Credits: For transaction construction
Network fees: Gas fees paid to the blockchain (NEAR, Ethereum, etc.)
DEX fees: Fees charged by Ref Finance or NEAR Intents (not Zero)
Zero swap fee: NONE - Zero takes no cut on swaps

You pay AI credits for transaction building, plus what the blockchain and DEX protocol charge. Zero adds no swap fees.
